Happy New Year (finally)! I can’t believe it’s already February. January flew by in a whirlwind of family visits, hangouts with friends and a two week long girls trip with my cousin to Prague and Berlin (trip re-cap coming soon).
Today, I’m excited to share my favorite hot chocolate recipe! It’s a cold, snowy day in Denver and the weather is making me think of my childhood. Anytime we had a snow day growing up, we filled the day with sledding at the golf course down the street. After you were cold and wet from hours on the hill, we would trek home to find my mom making a pot of homemade hot chocolate. It was an intoxicating smell of chocolate and vanilla simmering on the stove. If we were really lucky, there would sometimes be fresh chocolate chip cookies too.
